David’s 388 is a small neighborhood restaurant in South Portland and part of Chef David Turin’s group of popular restaurants in Southern Maine.

Since opening in 2007, Turin and his team have created a loyal local following by providing friendly service and a menu that consistently pleases both those seeking creative fare and those who appreciate the more traditional.

The idea of smaller portions with smaller prices has become a popular theme at David’s 388. Look for seasonally changing menus and daily specials that consistently provide delicious value.

David’s 388 is an easily walkable destination for those in the Willard Square area of South Portland and offers convenient parking directly in front of the restaurant for guests visiting from further away.

The four kitchen counter seats—our Chef’s Counter–are among the most requested “tables” in the restaurant, where guests can enjoy all the action from the kitchen up close.

The dining menu is also offered at our full-service bar, which features a selection of specialty cocktails and a seventy bottle wine list.

Dijon and herb panko crusted haddock, roasted fingerling potatoes, and green  beans with almond

Slow braised pork osso buco with maple mashed sweet potato, baby kale, and pickled mustard seed
